My chances at Rice, Cornell,Brown, Northwestern & Stanford from CC?

(24) Male decided to quit working and attend school full time. Currently at CC with 15 hours and 4.0 GPA. By end of this fall I will have 24 hours.

Currently live in Houston Texas
Served a tour in baghdad in military

looking to transfer to one of these schools: Rice, Cornell,Brown, Northwestern & Stanford

Major: Economics

I plan to take 15 hours in the spring and take SAT's in Jan.

Considering my GPA, Background and Hours taken what would make me a formidable transfer applicant?

How many hours will I need to have? what kind of GPA will I NEED? What kind of SAT scores would be good to have?

Just trying to get some sure numbers out there....anyone from these schools please help with anything. Good words of advice (on my situation) would be super!.

We don't know enough to give you chances...

Most people do 2 years of CC before transferring... So you should be transferring in with about 50-60 hours...

Maybe you should try to transfer for Spring 2008 instead of Fall.
