<p>piano(7yrs) , varsity tennis, NHS, NFHS, Red cross club VP (JR yr) going to be the President of the club next yr. Conducted a major fundraising event for the club.
Community service includes more than 250 hrs volunteering in a local museum and at an underprivileged children’s camp. Volunteered at various activities etc. and am also a member of my own community youth organization.
Participated in science bowl (team placed 9th in state), physics bowl, ACS, and other local university competitions </p>

<p>Awards: piano guild award, physics award, ACS award, French award, </p>

<p>Rensselaer polytechnic outstanding student award for math and science.
Currently doing summer science research at a university.</p>

<p>Looks good. You have a chance. Apply. (I feel like a broken record answering the same questions. Why do kids keep asking the "chances" question? They all are within range; most have great stats; all have a chance of acceptance. Rice likes a variety of types....)</p>

<p>Hopefully, that "variety" includes kids with low SATs and dull ECs.</p>
