Ben

^ Just found my rank out, as of the end of Junior year.

65/592 (Top 10.9%)

good chances, if you apply early decision id say 75% if not, above 50 but not 60. but it is getting harder each year so idk

^ Thanks for the input. :)

Richmond is a highly selective school, so nothing is a certainty. Just applly and hope for the best. Good luck.

^ Thank you, will do.

But just keep in mind it's extremely, extremely, extremely hard to get in. Especially because their new President wants to put Richmond alongside the Ivies (which, many people believe, it already is academically).

umm its really not that hard to get into at all, i don't think you have anything to worry about.

^ Thanks for the input!

Anyone else, I'm getting mixed ideas...

i'd say you have a great chance, if you go ED then your chances will only get better!

side note, Richmond raised the tuition big time last year to put themselves up with the Ivies it the stats like Princeton review and US News because they factor in tuition prices. Richmond is getting very pricey and less economical when schools like UVA and George Mason are right down the road.

^ Yeah, I understand, but it's the only middle-road to those two, UVA is too tough out of state, and George Mason isn't as good as I'd like it to be.

True, UVa is hard to get into, but just because George Mason has a 3.3 average GPA, don't down it. I just visited and I really loved it. I'm not applying early to UVa because I'd rather go to Mason at this point. Beautiful contemporary campus and right out of DC, it's a pretty solid school. Plus I want to go into econ and they have one hell of an econ department. Personally, you'd be much better off at Mason if you want to go into political science, I mean you are 30 minutes out of the biggest political science city in the world. If I were you, which I am not, it's a no brainer. Plus Richmond tuition is out the ass

It's not so much the GPA, it's the fact that the ACT range is 20-25, I know people that got ACT's in that range, I don't really want to go to college with them honestly. I'm sure it's a good institution, but personally, I need more of a challenge.

Yeah I can understand that, but you can challenge yourself anywhere you wish. There are multitudes of programs that will allow you to challenge yourself. UVa is certainly challenging though. Good luck where ever you go.

Thank you michael, I wish the same for you!
