Hi, what are my chances at getting in Texas Am?
I’m a us citizen living in mexico,
Sat old score: Reading 580, Math 680, Writing 600
Class rank 16%
gpa 3.8 (an estimate)
Soccer for 3 years, in 3 student groups, treasurer in one of these groups and not a lot of volunteer hours.
I applied for BIMS, do you think I could get in? I took some subject tests like Biology M, spanish and math 1 and the scores were good.

@kseyo Impossible to give a definitive answer as there are too many variables that could impact. Did you take a heavy dose of AP classes in HS? Your SAT scores seem ok but not spectacular, your rank it good. I’d say you have a decent shot at admission but I would apply to some back up schools as well.
Thanks. I havent taken AP classes. Will that have a big impact on my application? I have applied to a couple others, 
I think you have a good chance. But, you would have a better chance if you had a higher SAT or a good ACT. I think it is interesting that you are living in another country and that you have good grades. Good luck. I would definitely apply other places and have some safe schools.
