UPenn
Princeton
Johns Hopkins

ACT- 30
PSAT- 206

Hey, can you send me a high end model of the rice cooker? Cuckoo? I personally own a Cuckoo.

No it’s actually Poongnyun. and BUMP

Stanford: don’t apply. As the trends show at my school: no Asians ever get in… Even kids that get into Princeton and Harvard did not make Stanford. It is all White athletes.

Try to raise that ACT score. A 30 at a lot of those schools you named would put you at a bit of a disadvantage when compared to other applicants.

I hate to say this, but with your GPA/ACT a good amount of those schools you listed are most likely going to be “Reach” or “High Reach” category.

And no offense, but I have no idea why your grandfather’s achievements in South Korea would help you get into colleges here in America (or even colleges in South Korea for that matter). I’m a high-school student myself though so maybe I’m wrong.

@mavspride41 Aww man, oh well, it’s my fault for screwing up in high school. Oh and btw, I also don’t know how my grandpa’s achievements would benefit me, haha i just heard somewhere that if you have family who did something prominent it looks good to adcoms. Idk

@davidthefat there are asian kids attending stanford

When colleges mean legacy the Upper Tier Ivies are a reach…Brown and Cornell you have a good chance
UCLA, NYU,BU, USC and colleges of the same calliber, your in.
JHU,Duke , NOrthwestern, etc…would be a reach…
Chance me back please!
