If anyone could give some insight on where I might stand with certain schools, that would be fantastic! Of course with schools such as UCLA or Notre Dame admissions or more difficult, and every school uses a holistic process, which I like to keep in mind. Thanks to anyone who can give advice on where I can improve to better my chances of being admitted!!

I would say you have a great chance at OSU  The EAs look good since it shows your commitment and your love to the things that you do.
Your grades from school look okay and I could tell that you are more into Languages and Humanities Subjects  You did not say what you want to study in the University so I would say that if you want to study Engineering or Math/ Science majors then you have to push the Sciences and Math’s scores up. But if you want to study Languages and Humanities Subjects in the future than your scores are good to go. Just keep it up!
Your ACT is your biggest weakness. So you can take that again or try the SAT. Sometimes people score better in SAT than in the ACT. If you are running out of time and your SAT or ACT is still not high then don’t panic! I believe that a low SAT/ACT score can affect the decision but it is not a major aspect. Trust me, I got into OSU with 1760 SAT :))) . My GPA and the essays and the recommendations and the ECs definitely cover the low SAT score up :D. So just try your best again with the ACT or the SAT  If it is not as high as you wish then don’t stress out. You should focus more in the class’s work and your personal essays and building relationship with your teachers for the recommendation letters anyway

I may have missed it, but what is your home state?

Intended major?

Sorry I forgot to mention! I currently live in Ohio and I was looking to major in something like sports management and business. @gandalf78 @c011e9e

As an in-state student, you should probably be good for OSU and U Cincinnati.

Have you thought about Miami University in Oxford, OH? It offers a major in Sports Leadership and Management in the College of Education, Health, and Society; if you have a 28 ACT and a GPA over 3.5, you would probably be okay for that. The Farmer School of Business at Miami is very competitive to get into, however, and if you were interested in that you would probably need to beef up your test scores.

I don’t know what your GPA is, but based on the Naviance scattergram profiles for our high school, and using your 28 ACT as a data point, I roughly estimate your chances as follows:

UCLA – very low
University of Miami – low to moderate; you would need around a 4.0W GPA
UF – insufficient data
Davidson – low; you would need around a 4.0W GPA, and probably need to apply ED
Notre Dame – extremely low
UT-Austin – very low, even with a 4.0+W GPA
Villanova – insufficient data
Indiana – moderate chance but you would need a 4.0+W GPA

  1. UF - high match
  2. University of Notre Dame - high reach
  3. OSU - high match
  4. Davidson College - high match
  5. UT @ Austin - low reach
  6. Villanova - low reach
  7. Indiana U - high match
  8. University of Cincinnati - not sure, match?
  9. UM (Florida) - reach
  10. UCLA (Almost 100% about Scores/GPA)- reject
