My chances at UCI and UCSB?

<p>Hi! </p>

<p>So I've already been rejected from UC Davis and I'm honestly really hoping for Irvine and Santa Barbara. I haven't heard back from Irvine, unlike a lot of people I go to school with. </p>

<p>Also, I'm working on my appeal for UCD right now and I'm just talking about how publishing & my eating disorder effected my grades and how UCD is good because it is close to home which is important to me after my sister died. (Sorry if it seems like I'm ranting! I'm just really anxious/nervous)</p>

<p>My stats:
UC GPA: 3.63
ACT Score: 30
I've got a lot of volunteer hours and a lot of other stuff so my EC's are really good. </p>

<p>I'm seriously so, so scared. I really want to get in somewhere I can actually go for school!</p>

<p>how the heck did you not get in… maybe its your gpa cuz i have the same gpa and i got denied from ucsc and ucsd :(. I heard irvines very competitive this yearr but that they are gunna except a couple more applicants this year. I want uci as welll goodluckkk.</p>

<p>I’m basically in the same boat as you, I’ve got a uc gpa of 3.67 and 1960 sat score. I got waitlisted at UCD and rejected from UCSD…Unfortunately for us it seems like this year UC’s are not giving the benefit of the doubt to us low gpa, high test score students…i still think you have a pretty good shot at UCI…Goodluck! </p>

<p>i’m the same as you! i got rejected from ucsd waitlisted at ucd and ucsb. have a 3.67 and a 1980 on my sat I! it sux so much! i just wanna really get into uci!!! :(</p>
