My Chances at UCI

<p>Hello everyone! I am currently a senior in high school in California and I wanted to know my chances for UCI</p>

<p>GPA Weighted: 4.15
GPA Unweighted: 3.45</p>

<p>I took my SAT in March and got a 1740.
I plan on taking the SAT II for Math alone. (Should I take another subject besides math?)
Taking ACT next month.</p>

<p>I've taken honors and AP classes and I am rank 37 out of 606 people.</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
-Tennis (all four years. JV for 2 years. Varsity for 2 years). Junior Year I got most improved.
-Merits Club - 4 years
-NHS for Junior and Senior year.
-CSF for Junior Senior year.
-Nutrition Advocate Club - Freshmen Year and Senior Year
-Anime Club - Junior and Senior Year
-AP Club - Sophmore - Senior year (Secretary)
-Red Cross - Sophmore</p>

<p>And I have a sister currently at UCI if that helps? I heard having family members in the same college you’re applying to increases your chances.</p>

<p>Legacy does not matter for UC’s. You need to calculate your UC GPA:<a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/&lt;/a&gt;
For the UC’s you will only get extra honors points for 4 of your AP classes so your UC GPA would be around 3.75-3.8 which is a little on the low side. Your SAT is also below the average so aim for a 28+ on your ACT to have a good chance.
