<p>I'm a junior, and I'm planning to apply to the UCs, i.e. UCLA, Berkeley, and UCSD. What are my chances?</p>
<p>I have a 4.5 GPA average over my three years about so far.</p>
<p>Freshman year GPA: 4.4
Sophomore year GPA: 4.6, AP Chemistry - 4, SAT II Chemistry - 710
Junior year GPA: 4.47, I got B's in Honors English and AP Physics, but I've been getting A's in my other classes (AP U.S. and AP Calculus, among others)</p>
<p>I've been taking practices for the new SAT, I've been getting about 2100, but I'm hoping to improve. I'm going to take the SAT II Math, I'm confident I can get in the high 700s, and I will receive my class rank in a week and I'm thinking that I will be in the top ten percent. I'm president of the health and medical club at school, I'm secretary of the Junior class (organizing prom, etc.), I play tennis and ran cross country. Also, I'm secretary of Key Club, a member of Peer Mediation at my school, and CSF club. </p>
<p>Please reassure me, I've been worrying a lot lately as a result of my first two B's. Thanks!</p>
<p>You don't need straight A's to get into the UC's. I see it as an either or kinda thing there. You either have to have perfect grades, or a good SAT. And you seem to know you're gonna have a good SAT, and you have near perfect grades, so you're in dude.</p>
<p>Hey. Not much has changed, but I now have my basic core of test scores. I want to know if you guys think that my standing for the UC's has changed at all. </p>
<p>Okay, I have SAT and SAT II scores. SAT I: 2090, SAT II: Math 760, Chemistry 710.

<p>Quite honestly I'm a bit tired of test taking and don't plan on retaking the tests, but do you believe that it is absolutely imperative that I retake any of them? Because I really don't want to, but I don't want to regret it. Thanks.</p>
