My Chances at UCs, UCS, etc? HELP THIS INT'L STUDENT OUT PLZ!

GPA UW:3.9 W:4.0-ish (w/ only AP weighted) W:4.2 or 4.3(with H&AP weighted)
Toefl:260
SAT: 1850. Taking again with goal 2000+
Taking SAT2 in Nov.
5 AP, 3 Honors
Asian International student studying in U.S. (3 yrs)
Extracurriculars: Art, Photography, lots of volunteer work
Some awards and honors.</p>

<p>My GPA is above-avg and SAT is about average for international students.
I don't have much club/sports but I have many independent works done
such as working as a visual designer and won several awards for art works..</p>

<p>My unique strength is that I moved so many times, living by myself and all settled in everytime. </p>

<p>Since you’re an international and the scores are rather weak for many of those you’re applying to, I’d say Berkeley and UCLA are reaches. You have a better shot at the other UCs, though they’re all competitive for internationals.</p>

<p>I know UCB and UCLA is will be the toughest ones for me. is USC or BC easier though?..</p>

<p>I’d say you’re a good match for UCLA if you can get a 2000+ SAT score
just make sure to stress the art stuff & living by yourself on your essay.</p>

<p>if you don’t mind going to a community college first, UCLA and USC are A LOT easier to get in as transfers, especially for international students.</p>
