Is your weighted gpa calculated by UC gpa formula? If you are not sure, go back and search forum for UC gpa. You'll find numerous links. Basically UCs calc differently than your hs might.

My friend with 1500 SATs and a 3.5 GPA with NO EC or Volunteer Hours got into Berkeley... If the original poster can't get in with his scores, GPA, and EC, there is seriously SOMETHING WRONG with the system.

the op definetly has a good chance. karupt your friend is one heck of a lucky-ass to get into cal with those stats. is it really that much of a lottery to get into the top tier UCs? If it is then the system is wack =/

karupt's friend must've been really lucky to get into those stats, there's people with stats similar to the openers' who have been rejected. but then again, major can play a role in admission. to opener, what do you mean by "College Class Year: 2011"?
