I want to know if Santa Cruz is a safe bet for me because I would love to attend this school. If its not a match then what schools (UCs and CSUs) should I also apply too?

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79:

UCSC: 47%
UCR: 64%
UCM: 80%

I would say UCSC is a High Match (50/50 chance) so definitely not a safety.

UCR/UCM/CSULB/CSU Fullerton and Cal Poly Pomona would be safe bets.

I’d say it is 60/40 against you as UCSC, You should apply but, don’t consider it safe. also apply to SDSU, CLULB, Fullerton and perhaps Chico or Sonoma if either interests you.

Good luck.
