I am Sahil. I gave my board exams in march.I scored 9.6 CGPA in 9th, 9 c.g.p.a in 10th and 91% in class 11. I am expecting a 85+% in class 12.
Now comes the main part. I am desiring to get into University of Illinois at U&C and scored 1900 on my SAT (i got 1790 on first try)
I can easily get 700+ on subject tests for Maths and Physics. I am aiming for Physics.
The question is can i get into UIUC.
I am the finalist of the World’s largest inter school quiz, ‘Aqua Regia’, winner of many debate and quiz competition in school and many certificates for public welfare.

I am taking a gap year and my desired course is Physics or Electrical engineering.

Anything besides CS would be easy to get in .
As far as my knowledge goes, you can get in (even if you choose CS). Just pen down some decent essays, get good recommendations and you are good to go.
One more question. Can I apply for more than one prgram in the same college. For ex. If i apply for physics and CS at
The easiest way to get into UIUC for CS or Engineering is if you apply as a Statistics & CS major. Otherwise, I don’t think your SAT score is suvstantial.
@shahil123 if you are aiming towards engineering, considers schools like Georgia Tech and Purdue as well!
