yeah.. i sucked in "american" courses.
Fresh man year : I took all regular courses cus i slacked off back then. Still got straight As tho. my rank went up from top 30% to top 6.6% (would this hurt me?)

Extra Curriculums ( Im really weak in EC)
3 years of football team( was part of state champs in 2007)

yeah.. i have like no leadership positions except my church but i doubt they would care about it. plus i didnt do crap in my freshman year so they are all 3years of activities instead of 4 years.

Recomendations : 1 good from bio teacher 1 i dunno (probably neither good nor bad)

Im kinda worried cus my school is not that great.
Usually 1 or 2 kid goes to ivy league.( last year 1 kid went to Harvard for the 1st time in our HISTORY) pretty damm long history too. my school was built in like 1921 or something.
I know its pretty bad
and like usually 4~5 kids go to good schools like Umich, CMU, JHU.

Please give me honest answers.
it would help me alot. thx

if you just applied (like in the last two months).... you're prolly not going to get in.

Agreed. Turning your app in now is waaayy late. It doesn't help that you're OOS either. :</p>

Your stats and resume are impressive, but I tend to agree with the two previous posts. When did you actually submit your app?

Agreed, with rolling admissions, the earlier the better, they say it doesn't make a difference, but if there are no spots left, it definitely does!

I wouldnt listen to them. I think you have a pretty good chance. I got in early action from OOS with far, far worse statistics. Plus your high school is not bad. It sounds like its pretty good if it did indeed send someone to Harvard.

^ not true.
just because you personally got in does not mean that yjs has a "pretty good chance"
there have many students with similar stats get deffered in the early response period. and if yjs still has not heard back... his chances don't look too good.
