PS: Am I required to take SAT Subject Tests?

By the way, my English teacher, who will be writing a recommendation for me, had both of her kids go to USC. She also donates a lot of money to the school.

I think you have a great chance of getting into USC. I doubt your English teacher's legacy will affect your admission, but your stats are up to par with those of this year's admitted class. Good luck!

hahah I like the litl hook about the english teacher... but I dont think that will matter.....her well written rec will tho...

I'm definitely going to do an interview.

Should I take SAT Subject Tests, too?

I would take the SAT subject tests. You have an excellent SAT score, but every additional positive stat you can put together works in your favor. My daughter's SAT was slightly lower than your score (however, her GPA was higher)...I think her very high SAT subject test scores and ACT score cemented her acceptance, because USC could see that she performed strongly in multiple settings.

Good luck!

hhahah.. I'm tryong to avoid those sat II;s

hey im from Minnesota too! I want to go to USC because i hate the friggin winter up here. Im not taking that SATs because i hate taking tests.

I think most people take the SAT IIs, so you should probably do it. Be a sheep!
