So I am a junior currently in a New Hampshire HS. My GPA as of now is 3.88 out of 4.0 and weighted GPA of 4.26 I just took the SAT but according to my practice tests, I usually get Math: >700 CR: ~650 Writing:>670. My school doesn't offer tons of Honors/AP, so I have only taken 5 Honors/AP so far, and I am taking 4 more Senior year. For extracurriculars, I have done: Chess Clubs, Random Acts of Kindness, Science Olympiads, National Honors Societies, and couple others in which I hold a leading position in. As for volunteering, I have done over 200+ hours in the U.S. (Soup Kitchens, Hospital) and overseas (Asia). I haven't really gotten major awards except few departmental scholar of the month and few Principal's All Academic Team. UW is my top choice school, so can anyone give me the chances that I might get in?
And also, my parents earn <40,000 a year, which makes my EFC zero. Is UW Seattle a financial aid friendly school? I am relying a lot on grants, so will UW Seattle offer me a lot in grants and scholarships if I get in?

Probably not. Most aid is need-based, and they really aren’t very generous at all with out-of-state students as far as I know. You will get whatever federal stuff you qualify for, but definitely do not expect any merit aid from UW.
