My Chances at VA Schools

<p>First time poster! Submitted my applications today, and would like from feedback on my chances as a transfer applicant!!</p>

<p>My High School GPA: 3.5
My College GPA 3.6
SAT Scores: 600 Math & 710 English - 1310
SAT Subject Tests: Biology 670 and Literature 720</p>

<p>How much are AP exam scores considered?
Just in case
AP US: 4
AP Psych: 5
AP Euro: 4
AP English Lit and Lang: 4
AP Government: 5
AP Comparative Government: 4</p>

<p>Applying to (in order of interest): UVA, Virginia Tech, William and Mary and James Madison University. </p>

<p>Member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity
Volunteer as a Big Sister for BBBS
Volunteered first semester with an after-school tutoring program. </p>

<p>Don’t know about transfers but as far as 1st year students - UVA is unpredictable. I know quite a few people who were legacies and were not even waitlisted. Also all VA schools have about 70-30 instate students vs out of state, making it a bit harder for out of staters to be admitted. Good luck! ps where are you transferring from?</p>

<p>Sounds good for JMU and Tech. Not sure about W & M and UVA.</p>
