Sorry for the delayed response. W&M was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Sounds like you have many outstanding qualities, both academically and personally. You would certainly be a student competitive for admission to W&M.

That being said, many of our 12,000+ applicants are competitive for admission so we encourage you to distinguish yourself as much as possible through the application. In your case, given your interest in music, you should consider the creative art submission ([William & Mary - Arts Submissions](http://www.wm.edu/admission/undergraduateadmission/applicationprocess/artssubmissions/index.php)). Getting a good review from our faculty can serve to verify your talent and demonstrate how you might contribute to the W&M community.

We remind every applicant that W&M accepts just under one-third of its applicants meaning we have to turn away some stellar students. When that happens, it’s not that the student was lacking, it’s simply a reflection of the strength of our pool so you should absolutely apply. Just remember that we can only accept so many outstanding students so just set your expectations appropriately.

It doesn’t matter who replies to this or if there is a reply, I’m just going crazy waiting for the letter! The only college I want to go to is William & Mary, and I really want to know if I’ve got a good shot.
