Uhm...are you just applying to Washington ONLY?

uh....id say reject, not because you're underqualified, but more because you seem over qualified. ive heard they reject overqualified people to increase yield because of fear of not getting them to come, but im not sure if i believe that.....
you have a very good chance, id say.
match. what other schools are you looking at? why not dartmouth, pomona, amherst, rice or uchicago? (sorry, i had to advertise for my favorite schools that i applied to) or schools that are better than me, or i ran out of time to apply to? like yale, brown, columbia, caltech, or stanford? plus, you would have a better chance than i did, so why not give it a shot, you could go there in my place. unless you really really really like washu, which is cool. what do you want to major in?

what is IB???

It's true that Washington doesn't accept overqualified applicants. Last year, a girl in my school applied to Washington as a safety. Anyways, she got rejected, and her parents were more than surprised. They called the admissions office about why, and they were told that there was no point in her being admitted she didn't plan on attending (she went to Stanford, by the way, so the adcom was right about her not attending WashU).

On the other hard, there are some mediocre people at my school who got accepted there.

So I'd say you're in if you applied early decision, but I wouldn't be so sure if you were applying regular.

IB is the International Baccalaureate program. It usually requires 2 years, (first 2 years of HS) to be the PIB (Pre-IB) course, then your junior year is when you actually enroll into the diploma program. It is similar to the Advanced Program, but unlike the AP, IB requires students to excel in all of the 5 core aspects, along with a required class known as TOK, Theory of Knowledge, and a 4,000 word Extended Essay.

Social Studies (9th starts as PIB World Geo / PIB U.S. History to 12th ends with IB History of the Contemporary World) HL/SL possible

Math (Ends with IB Calc HL w/ Calc 3, starting points are different.) HL/SL possible

Science (Ends with either IB Bio HL, IB Physics HL, or in advanced students, Human anatomy and physiology or etc.) HL/SL possible

English (9th PIB World Literature, Ends with IB English 12 HL/SL possible)

5 Foreign Languages (Most common is Spanish and French, many going to levels of 4+ by senior year, unless it is Japanese or Latin. This can only be tested SL)

During their junior or senior year, IB students, in addition to all the other AP, SAT, etc. exams, take the IB exams, graded on a scale of 1 to 7. At least three SL test are required, along with 3 HL, (as you've noticed there are 6 exams, there needs to be a 6th subject to test for IB students, chose their junior year.) HL/SL possible

In the end, the students are separately recognized with IB diplomas, granted by the country of Sweden.

thanks, is that offered at every high school??

No. Actually, its offered at only a certain few.
Don't worry if you're school doesn't offer it, colleges just want to see that you challenged yourself at YOUR school, so if it doesn't have IB, they can't hold it against you, and they wouldn't compare you to an IB candidate.

Match. I guess there's a possibility of you being rejected if you're 'overqualified', but I think WashU is a great school with rather difficult admissions standards. If you are definitely interested in going there (as it seems you are), I'd bet they'd love to have you.
