Hi..my stats: please evaluate. I'd love to go into their engineering :D do I have any shot whatsoever?
SAT: m: 670 v:670 w:650
SAT IIs: I get my results back next two weeks but math I has to be above 740 but physics was bad.
ranking: w: 4.7 uw:3.93
class rank: 3
female...
good recs
ec: riding horses 11yrs, some clubs, started a political club....

please let me know if i have a shot. I know that my sat's aren't great, so don't just bash them, just let me know if I could get in.

Again, the fact that your school record is so strong should offset your lower math score. Admissions understand that one test score can't tell them everything. :)

I would say being a girl is a huge plus. It's going to come down to your location and race. By location, I mean quality of high school and region. If you live on the East coast or a big city, I say you don't have much chance. If your school regularly sends kids to Ivy's, then being 3rd in your class is a plus, but if not... nope.

err, that was a little harsh. Your chances aren't too bad, and it's always nice to see girls in CIT.

Female for engineering is a big boost. Also, I believe cmonyuk is correct that your location and race will be important (too bad you can't help either of those things). Good Luck!
