My chances for a couple of schools. Pre-med Track

Hi everyone! So I was just wondering what my chances were for some colleges. I want someone who will give me an honest opinion, because we all know our loved ones are going to sugarcoat everything. So here's some stuff about me.

I live in Connecticut, and I am of Indian descent. Here are my stats:
SAT 1: 1870
CR: 580
M:660
W:630

GPA: 3.76
Rank: 8/250

AP Physics
AP Chemistry
AP US History --3 on the AP Test :(
AP Calculus AB
AP French
AP Music Theory

I've taken nothing but Honors and AP courses a regular public high school and I've gotten mostly A's in each one, except for Physics and History. I skipped a grade and I'll be graduating at 16! Even though that probably doesn't count for much...

Here are my extra curriculars:

buildOn ( a nonprofit community service organization, raises money to build schools in third world countries) V Running for Vice President Next Year. 4 Years

Girls Tennis- 3 Years. Captain next year.
Ushers Guild- 3 Years. President Next year.
Concert Choir- 4 Years.
Select/Chamber Choir- 2 Years
Jazz Band B - Piano. 2 Years
Jazz Band A- Auditioned group. Highest recognition at my school. Piano 1 Year.
National Honor Society Member- Treasurer
French Honor Society
Science National Honor Society- Vice President
I volunteer at my Local Library and received two Presidential Awards and I'm Artistic Chair Head. I'll be doing it again this year as well, along with hopefully volunteering at this Pediatrics Clinic in my neighborhood.
So by the end of my Senior Year I should have about 400+ Service Hours.

I didn't take any subject tests yet or the ACTs.

Chance me for....
UCONN- Storrs -- I'm pretty sure I'm in
UMASS - Amherst ---Again pretty sure
SUNY Binghamton -- Not sure at all
SUNY Stony Brook -- I think I'm in
SUNY Albany -- I should be in
Northeastern University --this is my biggest reach but i thought why not? haha

I as thinking about applying to colleges in my area, but I don't mind a 3 hour ride. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions about which colleges to apply to, please do! I'm still trying to figure where to apply. I want to go on the Pre-Med Track and probably major in Biology/Biomedical Sciences. Thank you for the time! Any questions, please ask!

UConn: Safety
UMass: Safety
Binghamton: High match
Stony Brook: Low match
Albany: Low match
NEU: High match

Northeastern isn’t the reachiest of your school choices; Binghamton is, but not by much.

Alright thank you! What is your opinion of which is better for pre-med, Binghamton or Stony Brook? Also, could you chance me for Fordham University?

Agree With Catria on ranking, why don’t you try for some reaches like Cornell or JHU, your profile is very safe!

UCONN- Storrs: Safety
UMASS - Amherst: Safety
SUNY Binghamton: Match/High Match
SUNY Stony Brook: Match
SUNY Albany: Low Match
Northeastern University: High Match

Your set on Matches and Safeties, I would add some reaches!
Good Luck!

Fordham: Low match/match

Thanks for replying Sameer1 and KS1996KS! I really appreciate it, but as much as I would love to go to Johns Hopkins, I don’t think I can afford any private schools :frowning: but maybe I will apply and see what happens! It’s worth a shot right? Do you have any other suggestions for possible good schools I could get into?

BY the way, as a follow up, I’ve gotten into Stony Brook, Albany and Binghamton so far!

Stony Brook is better than Binghamton in the sciences and in pre-med. Binghamton is more of a business and humanities school. I have applied to similar schools and Im from Ct as well, I’m majoring in biomedical engineering with pre-med and I also have fairly similar stats. I applied to Boston University instead onf Northeatsern and ive been accepted to Stony Brook. I also applied to UPitt (got in), Uconn, U of Miami, and Tufts. I am going off of a 29 ACT score.

zzlombard, thanks for your input and I’ll definitely take it into consideration. How do you know that Stony Brook is better than Bing at sciences though? Is it because of their graduate program and that they have a hospital on campus? Some of my friends say Binghamton is better just because it’s apparently harder get into but I don’t think that’s the way it works.
I’m nearly 95% sure that I’m going to UCONN anyway, because it’s going to save me a lot of money and it is a good school too. Biomedical engineering sounds awesome, and good luck with the rest of your schools!

I thought JHU could meet 99% of need… if not full-need.
