Hi, I wanted to apply as am entering freshman undergrad with a major in Business Administration - Marketing. I havent been living in Texas for very long, and don't know much about the system of acceptance most public universities here in Texas use. I'm a senior, and my GPA is a 3.49 (Unweighted), and about 6.1 (weighted). My SAT math is 520, my reading is also a 520, and my writting is a 570. I took 1 AP class last year, and the rest Honors/Pre-AP, and I'm taking 4 AP classes this year, and the rest Pre-AP. My rank is 54 out of a class of approximately 593 students, so I'm 9.1%. What are my chances of getting into the school, and the program overall? I've heard something about a 10% rule in Texas, but i'm not sure if it applies to A&M, and what other requirements I may need. Am I allowed to apply for two different universities even if I may be automatically accepted to both? Thanks.

top 10% rule applies to all public universities in texas, so yes A&M is on that list.

Applies to all public colleges except university of texas.
