My Chances For Admission to Middlebury

What do you think my chances for Middlebury are? I'm going into my junior year of high school. I'm visiting the campus next summer to talk to the track and field coach for recruitment, I'm also trying to set up an alumni interview. Honesty please and any other college recommendations as safeties if you don't think I'm a fit for Middlebury. This is my number one pick and I'll be applying for early decision.

If you can articulate your story and your uniqueness, you have a solid chance of being accepted at Middlebury and schools like Middlebury. You have many hooks. ex URM, Athlete, Are you also first generation college? Check how your triple-jump compares to DIII school results - connect with the Track & Field coach (though I know nothing of this program at Mbury). Just be sure you are taking the toughest courses your HS offers. You have much of what the 2400 SAT students wish they could add to their resume.

Thanks a ton worldspirit! I am indeed a first generation college as well as high school grad. Trust me, I’ve been looking into everything I can about Middlebury since I first heard of it in the beginning of my sophomore year, including how I stack up with track. If I get into Middlebury I’m going to try and break the school record for the triple jump.

P.S
By what means should I articulate my story? Essay?
