I have solid recommendations and aced the interview,,,, still I think there's something missing ;;;; Do I have chances for these schools?
IT's my first Thead in CC, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd chance me.

i think boarding schools are looking for rounded individuals. They arent particularly looking for extreme academics, or extreme athletes. They are looking for a balance. Since you have this, I think you have a good chance. Maybe a few more EC's?

There's only so much space for ECs on the applications. If hyeonhoy were to put down any more than he/she has here, admissions officers are going to think it's just for padding. They know that there's no conceivable way most people can take part in that many ECs and still give them heart and soul.

As others have said, adcoms look for quality, not quantity.

It's amazing how you guessed that i'm Asian,,, I'd tried by best on my essays, and would there be any way for me to sort out all the Asian posts????

If you're interested, it may also be worth searching through old threads in the main prep school admissions forum - there are many interesting ones about the advantages and disadvantages of being from certain geographic locations.
