My chances for Columbia?

<p>Based on my listed stats, I am wondering whether or not I pose a strong, potential candidacy for Columbia University. </p>

Top 8 in leadership standing out of 115 cadets.

ROTC Leadearship Camp (selected out of 100 people)

Helped my mom start an online business. </p>

<p>I’d say you’re definitely not a weak candidate, and not the strongest one. Your scores and grades could be better, but you have some solid (not incredible, but good) ECs, and the URM status will be your friend!</p>

<p>If you’re truly URM then you have a solid shot. What was your SAT?</p>

<p>Btw, The GPA is cumulative. This year I made a 4.5 w and a 4 uw. Freshman year was the only year I didn’t make a 4 uw. I haven’t taken the SAT 1. I plan on taking the SAT II Mathematics 1 this June though.</p>
