My chances for CS major with these scores...

<p>I applied to all the UC's as a CS major. I recently got my SAT 2 scores back.
800 Math level 2
710 Physics</p>

<p>My SAT was :
800 Math
800 Writing
660 CR
(2260)</p>

<p>UC GPA UW: 3.78</p>

<p>UC Capped GPA: around 4.1</p>

<p>What are my chances for getting accepted as a CS Major?</p>

<p>Very good chance. You probably will get in UCSD, UCI, UCD, UCSB, UCR, UCM. If you are lucky you may get in UCLA, UCB. Cheers!</p>

OP’s capped UC GPA is around 4.1. It is above average for the mid-tier UCs.
UCB - low reach
UCLA - low reach / high match
UCSD - match
UCD - match/low match
UCI - match/low match

<p>I know a guy who got in with less in terms of SAT scores (to UCB) but his GPA was also much higher. I don’t know…</p>

<p>I will say that you’re probably in to all the UC schools other than UCLA and UCB. UCLA is a low-mid reach, and I’d say the same for UCB (maybe a slightly above mid reach because of the lowish GPA results).</p>

<p>Sorry OP, saw UC GPA unweighted and thought it was your weighted UC GPA.
For new chances, I agree with @Mangiafuoco‌.</p>
