2150 SAT score, or 1410 composite
like a 3.37 GPA, cruddy I know but I was slacking to a ridiculous degree in junior year.
1 very good teacher recommendation (she let me read it) and 1 pretty/very good recommendation from a PhD working at Cornell because I worked for him for two months over the summer, and 1 questionable counselor recommendation (might be good, I won't find out).
I have around 125 service hours, 2 leadership positions in clubs and a leadership position in a summer camp as a counselor.
I thought my essay was pretty good, I based it on my experiences in working at a professional level lab for two months, but the problem is I picked business as a major (would my chances be affected by the irrelevance?).

I'd just like to know if anyone could let me know my chances of getting in from experience!

are you in or out of state?

You don’t even have to go ED. Your scores alone would get you in. The GPA is fine for TCNJ. Seriously think you would get a sizable scholarship if you didn’t go ED.

I am in state.

I am concerned with my GPA though, because generally TCNJ takes 3.5 and above.
a 1410 score is nice at first, but in retrospect it kind of balances out to a mediocre score with looked with my GPA >_>
Well I already applied for ED, so there’s nothing I can do about it now until the 12/15 notification date, but at 20k a year vs 50k a year for some private schools I’m not looking for a great scholarship :P

Also, the scale for the GPA is out of 4.0 unweighted, so that’s why I’m in a bit of a predicament.

Dang can someone help me?

you should be fine. your numbers, extracurrics, and recs will work well for you, and since you’re ED and from the dirty jerz you should be 100% fine. good luck!!

chance me back?

Decision is in like 4 days! What should I be expecting?
Chance me and I WILL chance back!

Thanks for chancing me. . .I know that your GPA is a little low but the fact that you are applying ED helps and your scores alone would go a long way to not only overcoming your GPA but also getting you accepted and maybe getting you some minor scholarships to boot (the money could be a lot better if your GPA was higher). Oh, and I wouldn’t worry about he essay. . .a good number of school only pretend to look at them just so they can sound wholistic. I bet you get in, but i know that even with all of the positive feedback you’re probably still going to be freaking out until the 15th. I hear back from Penn on friday and I can’t sleep so I feel for you. Best of luck to you!

Well my essay really isn’t that bad as I make it out to be, in fact I thought I did a pretty good job on it, but I don’t want to sound presumptuous in the event that they don’t like it xD
Your stats looked great, I’ll be surprised if you aren’t accepted!
