Hi, first of all I know that my question will sound like a thousand of the questions asked in other forums. But with some knowledge u guys might provide I will create a website to cite my learned knowledge about these programs too.
Getting to the point I am a junior in high school in Indiana and here are my stats
3.6 gpa, (the max it can go to is 3.62 by the end of this year)
Act:33
Shadowing 300 hours so far(oncologist and cardiologist)
Hospital volunteering 150hrs
Shadowed in India for 15 hours in the opthomalogy dept.
4yr member of math team and scholastic bowl
Selected as a member in the NHSS
The gpa may look low but hear me out. My semester gpas so far were 3.66,3.71,3.16,3.66,3.8,3.8. That one “blip” in my gpa the 3.16 came at a time when I was having serious family issues during my soph year which crushed my gpa.
Classes taken(the hard ones):AP WORLD HISTORY,AP CALC AB,AP HUMAN GEO,AP PSYCH,AP PHYSICS,AP BIO,AP STATS,CRITICAL THINKING(GIFTED), AND MOST OF MY OTHER CLASSES WERE HONORS. Anatomy and physiology also.
