Hello - I'd just like to know if anyone out there can give me as estimate as to what my chances are for these 3 schools: Elon, College of Charleston, Pepperdine. I've got a pretty unique thing going for me, but I'm not entirely sure how much that'll help.

3.46 GPA - freshman: 3.0, soph: 3.2, jr: 4.0, sr: 4.2

Only 2 AP Classes (statistics, computer science) - A's in both

ACT: 26 (first time) Is it worth taking it again Feb. 12th, even though that is past the ACT/SAT deadline?

4 years varsity football
3 years varsity track
3 years bowling
Rec. baseball, basketball

FCA
Speech & Debate
CLT

Have done 3 different types of community service totaling 40 hours.

2 great teacher recs

Worked for a carpet company for a year.

And hopefully this sets me apart:

Own my own company that operates internationally. eBay-based. PowerSeller w/ over 1000 items sold. Partnered with another trading company in Michigan.

Wrote an essay that reflects me as a businessman.

I really want to go to Elon, but their acceptance rate is like 30%. OTOH, my stats are just about average (26 ACT, GPA looks to be around a 3.6 after this year). I'm from out of state BTW, and applied online a week ago for FINAL DECISION.

Pepperdine I haven't applied to yet. I still have to finish their 4 essays required on the application. Pepperdine, like Elon, seems to look more into EC's and uniqueness rather than solely GPA & SAT scores, as they don't have crazy stats with denying 75% of their applicants.

Why do you guys think these colleges have relatively low SAT/ACT/GPA stats compared to the selectivity rates?

Also chances

Thanks in advance...just seems way too long to wait for the March 15th notice date.
