I’m currenty a junior in highschool in the state of SC AND William and Mary is my number one choice for University. My weighted gpa is a 4.0, and for the first two years of highschool i was homeschooled. By the time I’ve graduated I’ll have taken 5 AP Classes (Teacher Cadet, Biology, U.S. History, Calculus, & Physics). I also haven’t take The ACT/SAT (actually i took the SAT my freshman year, before i had taken Algebra 2 or Geometry, but my critical reading score was perfect) yet, but on the PSAT for language and writing I scored very high. I also volunteer at the SPCA & my local hospital. Language-wise, I will have three years of Spanish & Latin, but I plan on taking the German SAT subject test for those languages. I also work at an animal hospital.
The only extracurricular i will have will be marching band for my senior year, i was unable to due it in past years. I really feel as though I won’t get in due to the fact i have no completed curriculars. And i also feel as though the state Im graduating from will be a hinderance to me.
If anyone could give me any realistic insight so far on my ability to get in i’d be very thankful
It’s really impossible to give accurate chances; especially without test scores. Check their Common Data sets:

Notice that 89% of those admitted submitted a SAT score while only 36% of admitted students submitted ACT. Remember that 2/3 of the class by law must be VA residents. A perfect Critical Reading score implies that you will get pretty dang good test scores so you may just pull it off. We live in VA and many impressive students don’t get in. Be sure to have options. Good luck!
