but if you go to stuy/hunter college/ bronx science/ brooklyn technical youre in for sure

make sure jhu is really the school you want to go to and that you can actually afford ~55k a year

yea i know my sat is a little low, hopkins has around a 2150-2200 avg sat but you never know, 2400’s get rejected so its a slight crapshoot

no i dont go to a stuy, brklyn tech school because i dont live in NYC but the school i go to was previously ranked in top public hs about 5? years ago

Yuh bro you will be aight.

You have no chance at BME @ JHU. It’s consistently ranked the number one BME program in the country (USNWR) and only accepts ED freshmen into the program.
Don’t know about bio.

I say the BME program is a high reach for you. Though your SAT IIs are good, your SAT 1 is a bit low for them. For just bio, it might be a low reach for you. You have pretty good GPA for a hard school, but I don’t think your ECs are impressive enough for JHU BME. I want to study biomedical engineering too Have your RD apps ready to go just in case…

Chance back please:

i just applied BME for luck because i know you must be first accepted into JHU overall to be considered for BME, so what are my chances for JHU in general? the BME part could just be icing on the cake because im prob. gonna go to JHU anyway if accepted

The BME program at JHU is considered to be one of the top programs in the nation. You have a fairly good chance, considering your course loads and SAT II scores, but your SAT I score is what’s holding you back. A higher score would have definitely helped, but like you said, they have rejected people with perfect scores in the past. If you go for BIO, you definitely have an extremely good chance.

I don’t know if your season is over yet but if not, good luck! Our team is going for a 4th State Championship in 5 years this year!

my football seasons been long over man

anybody else have thoughts?
