I’m a little surprised that a thread this old was updated again!! :)</p>
<p>I studied in both Kolkata and Singapore.</p>
<p>I got 39 points for IB [Math HL- 7, Physics HL- 7, Chemistry HL- 7, English SL- 6, History SL- 6 and French SL- 6]</p>
<p>I also got some awards like ‘Best Math Student’ and ‘Bronze Medal, Singapore Math Olympiad’</p>
<p>I created a (I think) new branch of analysis. Sounds grand eh? I’ve sent my research paper to the universities I’ve applied to. </p>
<p>SAT I- 2210 [Math-770, CR- 730, Writing- 710] [2 sittings]
SAT II- Math II- 800, Physics- 800, Chemistry- 800 [1 sitting] </p>
<p>I haven’t applied to MIT. I’ve only applied to Caltech. And I really pray I get in!! :)</p>

<p>And putting your IQ on a college app? IQ is a worthless measure, it means nothing.</p>
<p>Also, saying that your class is 50% South Asian makes you seem racist and welcoming to stereotypes.</p>
<p>Your lack of true awards also will hurt your chances…</p>
<p>You haven’t really given enough information for us to have an accurate guess at your chances.</p>

<p>LOL. Yeah. I did try and prove it, but it didn’t turn out to be completely correct. I’ve mailed the universities my partial solution.</p>

<p>This thread was created over 1 and a half years ago. I guess I’ve matured a bit over time. I’m just a 17-year old kid. So what the heck. :)</p>

I’m happy with where I am, and I’ll be even happier if I do get into Caltech.</p>
<p>But even if I don’t, life goes on. I’m not trying to be a saint or anything. But that’s how I really feel. :)</p>
