My chances for Purdue

<p>Please tell me my chances for Purdue and if there is anything I can do to improve them.</p>

<p>The question shouldn’t be “Will I?” but “How much merit aid will I get?”
Purdue is not selective at all, but has intensive weeding out process.</p>

<p>^^Agreed, about a 94% chance of acceptance (I don’t know, the number just sounded good to me!)
Your merit aid may be limited because you are out-of-state and are in engineering, a competitive program. (Merit aid is sometimes given out via schools, so the school of engineering must be more selective than say, the school of education.)</p>

<p>And do be aware that the engineering weed-out classes are scary (at least that’s what I’ve been told).</p>

<p>Thanks for the response guys. As for the weed out classes, I really love science and math and have done well when I have studied, so hopefully hard work and dedication will help me come out unscathed.</p>
