My Chances for Rutgers, Penn St,...

I am interested in Rutgers, Penn St, Delaware, UConn, Northeastern, Binghamton, Albany, Fordham, Drexel, and Hartford.

I applied to Rutgers and Penn St about 1 month ago and have still not heard back.

The last 4 schools are just pretty much safeties for me. I would really like to go to Rutgers or Penn St.

I am a white male New Jersey resident and I am interested in. I plan on majoring in business, specifically finance/accounting.

My EC's are:
FBLA 11, 12 (webmaster)
DECA 12

I have been a basketball referee since 9th grade and have refereed many games each year.

I was also a camp counselor the past 2 summers.

My GPA is a 3.71 (An A is a 4.3, not 4.0)
My rank is 99/445 (Top 25%)

My SAT scores are:
Math- 660 Reading- 450 Writing- 610
1110/1600
1720/2400

What are my chances at these schools?

rutgers-ur in

I think the 450 reading will keep you out of:
UConn
Binghamton
Penn State

Northeastern ?
Rutgers - their applications are up this year. Don't count on it as a sure thing.

Delaware - reach
Drexel - slight reach
Albany - match
Hartford - match

Look up the common data set for each school. I hope that you are scheduled to take the SAT again or the ACT.

A 450 SAT....you might want to consider the act to boost some chances. Most of those school count SAT old, and you have a 1110. You gotta take the act (IMO) to have a chance at rutgers or PSU.

If you bring that SAT verbal score up 100 points, all these schools should be safe matches to matches.
