What are my chances of getting into Haverford or Lehigh?
Haverford is my top choice right now, and I plan to major in Biology. I am a middle class white female, and am a first generation college student. I also speak another language fluently (Hungarian).

My SAT: 2030 (CR+M+W) / 1430 (CR+M only)
CR = 710
Math = 720
Writing = 600
~ I'm retaking the SAT (and ACT) again in the fall...

SAT II = US Hist 750 --------- this is the only one I did well on, all others were in the mid to low 600's :(

ACT: 30
Math = 28
Writing = 26
Science = 31
Reading = 33

GPA: 4.0
~ My school has my GPA on a 100 scale and I have around a 97 gpa unweighted and on college board website, the conversion says that would be a 4.0

In the top 5% of my class.

AP Classes I have taken: European Hist (4), US Hist (5), Physics B(4), English Composition (4)

AP Classes I'm taking senior year: Bio, Chem, Calc BC, Government, English Literature
~ I have also taken college spanish and will take college economics next year.

EC's:
- Horsbackriding
- Music (Participate in the school orchestra, school chamber ensemble and gemini youth orchestra. I have also participated in NYSSMA and All-County Music Festivals)
- Quiz bowl (Made it to History-bowl Nationals in D.C. with my team though we didn't do really well there... Honestly it was a great accomplishment to even get there)
- National HS (Honor Society)
- Math HS
- Music HS
- Science HS.

Volunteer at: Horseability (Therapeutic Riding for disabled children and adults), Sweet Hills Stables and the kids summer reading program at the public library.

I'm also writing a research paper which I will submit to the Intel STS and various other competitions in the fall of my senior year. I am working with a professor from Johns Hopkins and my paper is on how college ranking effects earnings.

If these colleges are completely out of my reach, can you recommend other PRIVATE schools that I take a look at? (I have already picked out Public Schools) and colleges in the East only please :)
