I wanna get in so bad ive wanted to go to UCI since 8th grade!!!!!!!

I know i should post this in wat are my chances but i wanted to ask you UCI Experts :D and they never reply.............

if i cant get in wat would be some good UC schools for me? Plz give me as safety, match, reach, etc.

well i want to do bio sciences but i know i have no chance with my stats...so i guess i'll apply as undeclared then switch to bio sciences lol (can u do that?)

Your SAT score is decent, I had a 2040 and got in, no extracurriculars, but with a 3.5 weighted.
I recommend taking those suject tests and the SAT again.
I took the SAT 3 times and it went up everytime. I retook SATII Math 2 and went from a 610 to a 770.

Try and improve in everything possible as your GPA is the only thing really restraining you but ironically the only thing you can't change.

hahaha im a junior right now......i got 3.0 first semester and it looks like im gonna get a 3.8 2nd semester.......but overall, my UC gpa will still come out to be around 3.0

because of some mistakes i made in reporting my grades, my actual uc gpa was between a 2.9 and 3.0 ..... i didn't realize it until all the other uc's started rejecting me but i got into uc irvine anyways ... even tho it was sometime in april which was quite curious ... so yeah i think you have a small chance.

it really depends on what high school you go to because i did take a class at a community college during high school and it wasn't added on to my HS gpa because frankly, they're not the same so i would check with ur school counselors first before taking a CC class just for for sake of raising gpa rather than to fulfill an intellectual interest :)

Also note that I was told by my counselor that if you take over a certain number of CC classes (or credits), you will no longer be considered a freshman applicant and instead treated as a transfer. You might want to consider UCR=>UCI as well, since its definitely not impossible and I don't think UCI is participating in the shared Merced program (meaning they probably won't cut back on transfer admissions)
