<p>Hey, im a international student from Pakistan.
Im going to apply to UCLA in a couple of weeks and wanted to know wether i should or not, since my SAT scores arent that good. On my first try i got 1950. I know i can get atleast a 2100 on my next attempt but UCLA only accepts scores before December and the only date i could get was January. </p>
<p>Im in a British system school so i gave my O level GCSE exams recelty.: I got 7 A's and 3 B's.( A's in physics,math,add math,economics,eng language,pakistan studies and chemistry)</p>
<p>My school doesnt do GPA or class ranks. But in 9th grade i was in another school where my calss rank was 7th.</p>
<p>SAT scores: Math 730
Reading: 640
Writing: 580
total: 1950</p>
<p>I got a 74.8 % overall average last year. </p>
<p>Im in AS right now so no A level grades.</p>
<p>Hmph, i have around 60+ hours off community service.
Im currently interning at a hospital
Im in the School Basketball team
Ive played in the school concert for the last 2 years.
I play bass for my band - we were voted as the 3rd best performance -
I teach underprivileged science children after school.</p>
<p>Im giving my sat 2s in December. - Ive been getting 780 in my practice tests so far.</p>
<p>Honors:
Was awarded the Breton Award for Excellence in Mathematics by my school.</p>
<p>Just wanted to know if i there is any hope. although im no to optimistic. TY</p>
