I have a 3.09 GPA, a 1680 SAT score, I do crew and marching band, and I'm from a good school in CT. how are my chances?

What are your Math/Reading scores?

Are you looking to be in the UConn Marching Band?

UCONN is using the commonapp this year, which means they are undoubtedly going to get an influx in applications. With those scores you cannot get into the Storrs Business or Nursing program, which looks for more qualified students. For the Storrs campus, I think you have a shot depending on your extracurriculars or if you are an underrepresented minority or something. Being from CT definitely helps though.

I can speak to that^^^ My HS in CT has 200 in my senior class. We already have 46 kids who have applied and we are still 2 weeks away from the Early Action deadline…I’m sure it will get higher, last year 56 applied. I know the main reason I did was because it’s Common App with no supplemental essays/questions.
