My Chances for UC's/CSU's?

I'm applying to ALL UC's and both of the Cal Poly's, SJSU, Sacramento, Chico
I am aiming for UCSB or Davis or Irvine for CS.
Please tell me what you think, Thank you!

Objective:[ul]
[] SAT I (breakdown): 2260 (800 M/W, 660 CR)
[] SAT II: 770 Math 2, 710 Physics retaking both I know I can raise my Math 2
[] Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.77
[] UC Capped GPA: 4.08 (i think, it should be higher tho because UC's really screw over OOS grades)
[] AP (place score in parenthesis): World History (2), Stats (4), Calc AB (5), Chem (4), Comp Sci, Calc BC, Physics C
[] IB (place score in parenthesis):
[] Senior Year Course Load: VMC, Gov/Econ, PE, AP Comp Sci, AP Calc BC, AP Physics C
[] Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): AP Scholar
[/ul]
Subjective:[ul]
[] Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Soccer for 7 years, JV for school (did not do in 10th grade do to personal reasons explained in app), Mock trials (10th), Drama Club (10th), Robotics (10th), NHS (11th), Spanish Honor Society (11th), Attended a Java programming camp/program also Girls Teaching Girls to Code at Stanford U. (not EC's really but still)
[] Volunteer/Community service: Humane Society (100+ hrs, Leadership: Camp Counselor; Mentor for one of the programs), Independent volunteer events through school or clubs
[] Personal Statement: I think its pretty good. Wrote about open mindedness and my love for coding
[/ul]
Other**[list]
[] Intended Major: Computer Science
[] State (if domestic applicant): Georgia in 9-10th, California 11-12th
[] School Type: Current school is competitive, GOOD school; my previous school was good too, it had a really good, selective Magnet program focused on STEM that I was a part of. I took many honors level maths/sciences in 9-10th as apart of it (for example, H Acc. Math 2, H Chem and H Bio in 9th; H Acc. Math 3, H Physics, H Earth Systems)
[] Ethnicity: Indian
[] Gender: Female
[] Income Bracket: ~170K

UCLA/UCB: reach
UCSD: low reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: matches

okay, thank you :)

I recommend against retaking math 2; UC schools care about GPA more than tests, and your tests score(not sure about physics) are fine.

UCLA/UCB: Low Reach
SLO/UCSD: High Match
SJSU/UCD/UCI/UCSB: Match
UCSC: Low Match
CPP/SAC state/Chico/UCR/UCM: Safety

The only thing that makes you low reach for ucla and Ucb is the gpa, but I still think you have a pretty good shot!
UCB-low reach
UCLA-high match/low reach
UCSD- high match
UCD/SLO/UCSB-match!
UCI/SJSU-low match
UCSC/UCR/UCM/SAC/CPP/Chico-safety
Thanks for the chance and good luck:)

To those of you who think UC Irvine is less selective than UC Davis and UCSB: Stop. Just stop.
In general: UC Davis > UC Irvine > UCSB.
For computer science: UC Irvine > UCSB (easier than UCD with high test scores) > UC Davis.
UCB - reach (UCB and UCLA are similar in selectivity, but UCB is more selective for CS major)
UCLA - low reach (GPA below UCLA average)
UCSD - high match (GPA below UCSD average)
UCD - match
UCI - match
UCSB - low match (Unlike the other UCs, UCSB actually cares about high test scores)
CPSLO - high match / match (between UCSD and mid-tier UCs in selectivity)

bump

bump

Hi
You are looking good for Irvine, Davis, and Santa Barbara but they are all high matches
Great test scores but okay GPA
I want to just tell you that though your ECs are many in number, they are not too impressive (other than soccer) because they don’t show time commitment + CS is a really competitive major!

Good luck!
