I know I might get in for EA considering I got in for Georgia Tech Early Action. What are my chances for EA and a long shot...how silly am I for applying for Georgia Honors?

---Getting a good rec from a UGA alum
SAT- 580 English Comp, 730 Math, 600 Writing (1910...i know...low for Honors)

---4 years in ultimate frisbee club, made a community group over the summer

bump…please guys

I think you’ve got a good shot at EA, but Honors is a long shot. UGA values GPA above standardized testing scores, and a 3.95 UW puts you in a good position for both EA and Honors. SAT/ACT is on par, or slight above, last year’s median but will probably not cut it for Honors. Having said that, the only way to know for sure whether or not you’ll make Honors is to apply. Best of luck with both applications.

I posted these stats on another thread, but in case you haven’t seen them, this might give you some perspective on where you stand as an applicant.
