anyone??? please???

Even then I’d say it is a match…

anyone else??? suspense is killing me

Am I a subprime chancer?

no. i just need some more opinions thats all. :)

Just a question since I curious, by most competitive county do you mean mecklenburg? I live in this county…

It’s probably a match or low reach, I really don’t know I’d retake your SATs though and aim for a +600 on cr and raise your other scores as much as possible. It’ll just really raise your chances in general, just to make it much more of a match/safety

High match then.

i mean wake county

also i have one more question. I accidentally sent a score report of my 1760 first attempt sat score to unc, but im not self reporting this on my application. Will unc still consider this score??

I’m not sure exactly how to gauge it for in state students. I would say the your over all chances are just below acceptance. Write a great essay and re-take your SATs and ACTs, those scores are a little low. If you do that then you’re chances will be great for getting in. For now though, its a tough call. You are on the fence so to speak. Good Luck!

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1396929-rising-junior-transfer-chapel-hill.html#post14885459

Hey, I’m also worried about my chances… can anyone give me some odds? :)

34 ACT
2130 SAT (2170 superscored)
3.4 GPA unweighted, 5.1 weighted (out of 6.0 scale, with A in AP being 6.0 and A in honors being 5.0)
6% class rank (class of about 700)
APs: European History (3), Biology (5), Spanish Language (5), American History (4), Calculus AB (5), Chemistry (cancelled score), English Language (5), English Literature (Pending), Calculus BC (Pending), Environmental Science (Pending), Macroeconomics/Government (Pending)

As a senior, I am taking 4 AP’s and 2 Cooperative Diversified Education classes, which allow me to leave school at 12:15 to go to my job for at least 15 hours a week; however, i have heard that colleges frown upon this… not really sure

National Merit Condemnation
National Hispanic Scholar
AP Scholar

My essay was good, based on the opinions of a few trusted people that have been working in the English department at my school… one told me to just drop it and submit it, because she would not change one thing on it

However, my extra curricular activities are pretty weak; I relied on my importance in a Maccabi Tzair Jewish Leaders program in my city, but besides that, only my participation in Mu Alpha Theta (Math club) and an arts program for one theatre show could be shown.

Also… how good is UNC on merit scholarships?

Thanks for the help!
