My chances for University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)

<p>I am strongly considering applying to University of Pennsylvania. I am simply curious of my chances of enrolling in Wharton. What are my chances?</p>

<p>Stats below:
School: Private English school in Japan (US curriculum)
Location: Japan
Nationality: Indian
Cum GPA: 3.91
SAT: 2080
IB diploma candidate, completed more than 500 hours in CAS (Creative, Action, Service) over the last two years. </p>

<p>I speak 4 languages and here are my ECs:
High School (06’ = 9th grade, 07’ = 10th grade, 08’ = 11th grade, 09’ = 12th grade)
SBC Junior Class President 08’
I was the class president, collaborated, organized and participated in various events. Led meetings weekly, ran bake sales weekly, coordinated the Junior Talent Show, scheduled Dodgeball tournaments, organized games for Elementary and Middle school children during the Food and Fun Fair, and organized the Junior Sponsored Promenade. </p>

Assigned as the Goalie Captain for this season’s varsity soccer team. </p>

Led the JV team to CA’s first ever championship in the inter-school JV tournament held in Yokohama. In recognition of my leadership and achievement I was awarded the Most Dedicated award. During games only I, as the captain, could communicate with the referees. I was a co-captain with my sophomore year and also MVPs according to our coach. </p>

<p>Excellent ECs and GPA/transcript. I would get those SATs over 2100, though. As of now, your chances are okay, but your SATs are not impressive.</p>

<p>Also, your SAT score is pretty low for Wharton.</p>

<p>Did you go to this school in Japan for all four years of high school</p>

<p>I would be careful about putting everything you’ve ever participated (eg temple service) on the application. Instead, only highlight the things you shown leadership roles or significant achievements. And how do you play soccer and basketball at the same time? Aren’t they both winter sports?</p>

<p>Agree your SAT’s are a bit low. Aim for 2200.</p>

<p>Yes I have gone to this high school all four years. Soccer and basketball are different season sports here.</p>
