I’m only a sophomore now but I’m somewhat curious. My current GPA is 3.124 unweighted, but I can raise it up to a possible 3.416 in my junior year. I scored a 30 on my ACT with no preparation, with a 31 on the ACT Writing. I know my GPA is pretty bad, however, I am taking all AP junior level classes as a sophomore (AP Lit 11, Pre Calc, Chem) except AP Euro. I participate in three sports (cross country in fall, varsity hockey in winter, and tennis in spring) while volunteering on a weekly basis through my church youth group. I’m confident that with prep next year, I can score at least a 32 on my ACT, and boost my GPA up to the 3.416. Do I have a good chance of getting admitted to UW Madison?
