My Chances for Yale/Harvard/Stanford etc.

<p>Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me my chances for Yale/Harvard/Stanford, or any upper college/University in the U.S.</p>

GPA unweighted/weighted: 3.97/4.89</p>

<p>SAT: 2210 (retaking)
math: 790
writing: 740
reading: 680 </p>

<p>Taking the ACT this June</p>

<p>U.S. History : 750
Chemistry: 730
(Awaiting Math II score)</p>

<p>Athletics:
3 Years of Track and Field
1 year frosh soph
2 years varsity
Team Captain as a Junior
Frosh soph bay League Champion of 300H as a sophomore.
Went to CIF this year.
2 time Varsity letter winner.</p>

<p>EC's:
Volunteer at Local hospital and with a local community service group</p>

<p>MUN (all years of high school)
Have won best delegate at conferences and Best Public Speaker at UC Berkeley conference
Board positions held:
historian sophomore year
chief ambassador junior year
will be secretary general (highest position) senior year</p>

<p>I be the the Student Member of my highschool for the School Board of Education for next year</p>

<p>I have played violin since I was 4....and played in the highschool orchestra 1st violin since freshman year.</p>

Will be Boys' state member this summer & a
Counselor at Church camp this summer.</p>

<p>It seems that most of your achievements are local, which don’t really stand out. As is, I would put you at 10-15% at the upper Ivies, 20-25% at the lower Ivies. Could you elaborate more on the scope of your accomplishments? That is, something like, out of X applicants from region, I was one of Y to get into a certain group/have a certain distinction. There may be something I overlooked.</p>
