My chances getting into Clemson?

I know Clemson is very competitive and slightly harder to get into with an acceptance rate of 51%. I was wondering what are my chances of getting in with a 4.34 gpa and class rank of 39 out of 413 ( top 10%).
I am in the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) so my classes are very rigorous. (I’ve also taken two AP classes and passed) I’ve been a part of the varsity track team in 9th and 10th grade. I am apart of Beta Club and BEST club (science club). I am the Historian of National Honors Society and Vice President of Junior Civitans.
I am also South Asian and speak another language at home (no idea if my race plays a role in calculating my chances)
As far as SAT scores go, I did god awful my first time and received a 1090 mainly due to the fact that I was swamped with work last year and did not have time to study at all. I’ve been taking practice exams on Khan Academy and have signed up to take it a second time in October. I’m sure my score will rise at least 200 points with the results I’ve been seeing from the practice exam.
So hypothetically speaking, with at least a 1290 and a 4.3 gpa, what are my chances?

While nobody can be completely sure, it seems as though you have a pretty solid chance at Clemson! (I don’t know a lot about their admissions so this is from a blind perspective). You could try taking the ACT instead; I found it to be a lot easier for me than the SAT (everyone is different however). Your rank, GPA, and course difficulty make you a very competitive applicant numbers-wise. Good luck!!!

@seaotter17 Okay, thank you so much!!!

Get your SAT/ACT up and you will surely be accepted. Everything else for you is above average so I would say you’d for sure get in if you get at least a 28 ACT. Shoot for a 31 to be sure.
