My Chances ! HELP

<p>I am a white middle class male from LI NY, I go to a public school and I am a first generation college attendee. I’ve applied RD to the college of arts and sciences as a political science major…</p>

<p>GPA- 91.65(uw), 100.35(w)
Rank: within the top 8% of class, 28th rank out of 375
10 APs taken total
SATI: 1340 (710 CR, 630 M) or 2050 (710 CR, 630 M, 710 W)
SATII: 710 U.S. History, 660 Literature, 600 Math IC </p>

<p>AP Classes taken: AP European 10th grade (3), AP Art History 10th grade (4), AP Literature 11th grade (4), AP U.S. History 11th grade (4), AP Statistics 11th grade (2)…and I am currently taken; AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Language, AP Spanish and AP Macroeconomics. </p>

Staff Writer of school newspaper, and member of newspaper club

2 year player on Varsity football team
1 year player on JV football team
a few other clubs and activities</p>

<p>Awards
won a few school essay contests, won two awards for excellence in a subject(Math A) in 9th grade and AP American(11th grade), and a 1st place winner in the Long Island Software Awards in 2004. </p>

<p>I think my essay was pretty good and so were my recommendations </p>

<p>I’m going to see the campus and be interviewed next week…</p>

Have heard of mid 1200 SAT being accepted ED, and 1560 and 1480 rejected RD last year.</p>

<p>If Bucknell is your first choice communicate that to Admissions. Show interest. </p>

<p>Have you been to campus before or is this your first visit? Will you write your impression of the campus after you return?</p>

<p>I think Bucknell's campus is stunning, and the town charming, but this is coming from a parent. </p>

<p>I think Bucknell's my first choice though, I should have applied ED</p>
