<p>Hi! I am going to be applying for biochem/pre-pharm/0-6 pharm programs.</p>

<p>I gave SAT I in june and my was score was low : 1610 CR550 M560 W500
Im going to give it again in october and also bio/m and chem subject tests in november.</p>

<p>i got 115/120 in toefl</p>

<p>my 12th grade percentage was 84.6% (im an international student)</p>

<p>i was in the top10% of my class for four consecutive years. Won the scholar's trophy each year with special honor in the final year.</p>

<p>Subject topper in english, bio, chem, environmental education</p>

<p>play basketball, chess,tennis, kho-kho and the guitar and i have won quite a few regional and state competitions in these..</p>

<p>i have excellent recommendation letters.</p>

<p>My ECs :
2 year internship in a pharma company research lab
2 years volunteer for managing school library.
2 years teaching assistant for 8, 9 and 10 grade students for english, science, computer applications and social studies.
Volunteer/youth leader at a NGO for cancer patients since four years
Volunteer at several other organizations for blind, special children etc. i also help them in building new rooms for the blind people.
Studied and reported an article in the local newspaper regarding damaged roads, improper waste disposal etc and the municipal commission corrected these problems after reading this issue.
several blood donation, plantation, education drives and i lead them all from the school (all 4 years)
Managed/supervised annual school functions (4 years)
Met the former president of the country.
Leadership position throughout all 4 years and was the head captain in the final year.
Committee member of the district student government commitee for all 4 years and was the vice-president in the final year.
Presented two papers, one in bangkok on augmented reality and the other in banglore, india on prospective advances in medicine.
Member/Leader of the book/drama clubs.
Has written a book with 39 originally written poems currently being considered for publishing.
Won numerous debate/declamation/essay writing competitions.
and also the student leader of the year..and many more...PHEW!!</p>

<p>You’re SATs could be higher but since you’re an international student with amazing ECs I say you have a good shot for all of them. Chance me back.</p>

<p>You have some really great ECs. Just try to improve your SATs in October, and do really well on your subject tests. I think you will get into most of the schools you apply to. NYU, and all the UC schools are difficult to get into, but you have a great chance at them. You should apply to all the schools on your list.</p>

  1. u must improve your sat score much higher
  2. add more safe schools

  5. how about ur 9th, 10th and 11th GPA?
