My Chances in Cornell A/S with HEOP? please!?!?!?

<p>So, I'm a graduating Senior at Stuyvesant High School, one of the more competitive schools in the country...with absolutely NO weighting for any APs...which is why my GPA is so low...
anyway, I applied to Cornell for Arts and Sciences and majoring in Pre-Med through HEOP...</p>

<p>From FAFSA, my EFC was 0, parents make 16k in total.</p>

<p>SAT scores (so very low =[):
Math - 730
Reading - 600
Writing - 620 </p>

<p>SAT II: Chemistry: 650
SAT II: Math II: 720</p>

<p>Ok, G.P.A : 89.5, I think thats a 3.5ish?</p>

<p>AP Courses (my school wont let students below a 93 take too many courses):
World History
Chemistry
Physics B
AB Calculus</p>

<p>Recognition/Awards and whatnot:</p>

<p>Finalist at New York City Math Fair - wrote a paper on Group Theory and how it can be applied to the Rubik's Cube...came up with my own (but very complicated ><) algorithm</p>

<p>Member of the National Society of High School Scholars</p>

<p>Extra Currics:
Stuyvesant ARISTA Honor Society
Cricket - Junior and Senior year
Stuyvesant Math Team
Stuy Muslim Student Association - Soph to Senior year
Stuyvesant Advanced Band</p>

<p>Community Service:
Volunteered some 200 hours at a tutorial, helped tutor students</p>

<p>Work/Employment:
Manager was so impressed that he decided to offer me a job there, work weekends</p>

<p>So....what are my chances? =[</p>

<p>Sorry, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen. The GPA and SAT will kill you on arrival.</p>

Member of the National Society of High School Scholars</p>

<p>The whole society is basically a scam.
You pay money and nothing comes out of it.</p>

<p>I don’t think you have a shot at all.</p>

<p>The first round of admissions is the GPA/SAT scores. Since it is not Cornell level, the admissions officers probably won’t look at the rest of your application.</p>
