My Chances in CS Engineering Colleges?

<p>Hey, could you guys chance me on these colleges for Computer Science/Engineering??</p>

<p>COLLEGES
- University of Texas, Austin
- Caltech
- Rice University
- University of Southern California
- Purdue University
- Yale
- MIT
- Princeton</p>

<p>GRADES
As I'm from India, I'm not really sure how to go about the GPA system, but here're my grades and percentage:
- Grade 9: B- (75%)
- Grade 10: A+ (92%)
- Grade 11: D (55%)
- Grade 12: C (60%)</p>

<p>My grades aren't that great for the last two years... See, I was reckless in the 11th grade, and I was seriously ill during my 12th Grade exams, which brought down my percentage a lot (Have the reports and all to prove it, WITH photos).
However, my grade for computer science has always been A+, my teachers especially loved my projects and lab-work.
As far as recommendations go, I should be able to get the required ones.</p>

<p>SAT
I'll be giving the SAT Reasoning Test in October, and expect to get around 2300. Gave my SAT II for Physics and Math Level 2 today, expect 780+ in Math and ~720 in Physics.</p>

<p>ECs
Not sure about this, not into sports much. Done a lot of extra, out-of-school RECOGNISED courses in NIIT (an IT institute): Java (First Rank in Class), C++, SQL, and also starting with ASP next week. Oh, and I also used to weightlift/gym in Grade XI but nothing worth mentioning.
Besides this, at home, I spent a lot of time learning and using advanced Photoshop (including stuff like manipulations, editing, enhancements, advanced visual effects, crystalisation, etc.) , Intermediate-level Macromedia Flash, and a lot more stuff. Helped out at school with presentations and projects in computer science using Flash and Photoshop. I'm not sure however, if what I do myself counts.
Also took a few classes in arts and crafts in the 11th grade.</p>

<p>AWARDS
- Won 2nd and 3rd place in 2 Inter-school (State-Level) Computer Programming Quizes in last two years of HS. Also represented my school in a few more, but didn't win.
- Merit for Improvement in Academics, 2005-2006
- Scholastic Excellence Award in 2005
- Merits for ALL subjects for ALL grades till Grade 10.
- 2nd place in school-level Flash Animation contest, Grade 9.
- Merit for Computer Science in Grade 11.</p>

<p>I have hundreds of awards BEFORE the 9th grade, for olympiads to International Level tests, for school level debates and extempores, for academics; do any of them count?</p>

<p>HOBBIES
- Reading (Fiction and non-fiction)
- Video Games
- Computers (if you didn't guess this yet.... )</p>

<p>That's it. End of list. I'm taking this year off, because of my health problems and all the last 4-5 months. Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of getting in? Any courses? Or any ECs? I can't really get a job here, as it's too competitive here, even for college grads!</p>

<p>So... what are my chances? :)</p>

<p>Oops, I forgot to mention this one very important detail:</p>

<p>COURSES
- 4 years of HS English
- 4 years of HS Math thru Calculus and Trigo
- 4 years of HS Physics
- 4 years of HS Chemistry
- 3 years of HS Computer Science
- 2 years of HS French
- 2 years of HS History (Indian)
- 2 years of HS Geography (includes basic meteorology as well)</p>

<p>Anyone? Come on, it's not too much to ask!</p>

<p>Hello people! It's not that difficult! Just click the Reply button and type away.</p>

<p>Simply put, your grades are bad, and you would be lucky to make it into Purdue, out of all the schools on your list.</p>

<p>Thanks. Well could you tell me what I CAN expect to get into?</p>
