I’m going to the UPENN M&TSI wharton & technology summer camp

I think i’m going to have awesome teacher recommendations since both teachers gave me the school department award for the two subjects, calculus and English.

so any chances? I really want to go for the fisher program at Wharton, but the chances getting accepted there are slim…So I’ll try go for Wharton and double major in engineering instead.

very good chance

really? very good chance?

I heard that asians need to score very well on their SAT I like over 2350 to even compete...I've been taking pratice tests, and my average score is around 2300.

My friend (an Asian) got thru M&T with a 1470 (old) SAT score.

Your high school record speaks volumes. I'd say make sure you don't scew up on your essays. Believe me, you have a very good chance.

If Penn is your first choice, apply to M&T ED and just put Wharton as your deferral choice. It's a win win (it's what I did on a whim and...hey, I got in!).

JCoveney

did you get into the fisher or wharton?

what does the chance stand for fisher if i did regular decision?

so, if you are deferred at fisher, you will automatically get into wharton? can you explain more? thanks!

I got into M&T. And when you apply, you can also tell them that if you're rejected, you can still be considered for either engineering or wharton...so if you think you're competative for Wharton, but maybe reach for M&T, just check the magic box.

thx! one more question, can i check both boxes to denot double majors? or only one?

if i were rejected to M&T, will it decrease my chance to go to Wharton or will it still be a fair selection to go into Wharton?

You get fair selection...and I don't rightly remember the application. it's not too tough, though :)
